Noah’s Ark Attractions

More than five million gallons of water circulate through Noah’s Ark attractions daily, with 200 certified lifeguards ensuring that guests can safely enjoy every drop. But this massive water park is more than slides and fountains, with dozens of attractions suitable for every member of the family.

Water Slides

Noah’s Ark water park is home to more than 40 fun slides in a range of sizes and styles, from speed body slides, to inner tube slides, to family and group slides. Some of the most popular water slides include:

  • Black Anaconda: An inner tube slide with tunnels to disorient riders and increase the fear factor of the ride.
  • The Plunge: A mat slide (riders use mats rather than tubes) where riders plunge face-first into the thrills.
  • Bermuda Triangle: A set of three twisting slides for single or double rider inner tubes.
  • Stingray: A half-pipe style inner tube slide blending water thrills with skate boarding chills.
  • Congo Bongo: A 700-foot long slide that can thrill groups of up to five riders at a time along its winding length.
  • Point of No Return: A unique racing water slide featuring a 10-story drop.
  • Dark Voyage: A four-person group slide that is entirely enclosed.
  • Black Thunder: A unique inner tube slide with integrated waterfalls and other special effects.
  • Kowabonga: A quick family slide with a series of classic dips and drops along its straightaway course.

While water slides may be the most visible and popular attractions, they are not the only soaked-to-the-skin attractions at this central Wisconsin water world.

Water Attractions

In addition to dozens of water slides, Noah’s Ark water park offers a range of other water attractions for visitors to enjoy when they want to take a break from slipping and sliding. Two tremendous wave pools, bumper boats, a relaxing endless river, the Adventure River with geysers, waterfalls, and waves, and the Flash Flood flume boat ride with wavefront bridge are just a few of the fun watery options. Paradise Lagoon is another popular wet attraction – visitors can challenge quick zip lines, splish splash walking platforms, and ride short slides all in a fun lagoon.

New in 2007, Noah’s Ark is debuting an innovative 4-D “dive in” theater featuring the SpongeBob Squarepants 4-D movie on a 40-foot screen. Water squirts, surprising drips, bubbles, vibrations, and water cannons bring the action right off the screen into the 176-seat theater. Guests who want to experience the movie without the effects, however, can take advantage of three dozen seats in an effect-free seating area.

Kiddie Areas

The youngest visitors to Noah’s Ark are not relegated to a simple kiddie pool. Four different children’s areas are cleverly decorated in nautical themes and include geysers, swings, water slides, fountains, and other fun features. Kiddie bumper boats are another great option, and a set of interactive jumping fountains are great watery fun without getting in a pool.

Staying Dry

Before getting pruny, guests may want to check out some of Noah’s Ark’s dry attractions. Several arcades are spread throughout the park and offer not only video games but also ticket-bearing games and prize redemption centers. In 2005, the park opened Noah’s Incredible Adventure, a themed ride taking visitors inside the ark that is the park’s namesake and telling the timeless story of rescuing animals from the great flood, all while keeping visitors completely dry. Kids will also love the Go Gator roller coaster, a simple oval track with a fun alligator theme.

After drying off, guests may want to try some of the park’s tasty snacks. Frozen yogurt, shaved ice, lemonade, pretzels, and other snack foods are widely available throughout the park.

Forget your swimwear? Never fear, a range of clothing stores offer swimsuits for all sizes and shapes, as well as other clothing and souvenirs. Life jackets are available for free use for any guests.

Visiting Noah’s Ark Water Park

Since 1979, visitors have enjoyed this fun water park, but to make the most of a visit during the park’s Memorial Day through Labor Day season, take heed of these tips:

  • Avoid deep water or wave attractions for at least 30 minutes after eating to minimize cramping or nausea.
  • Make liberal use of waterproof sunscreen.
  • Opt for disposable, waterproof cameras to capture all the fun.
  • Rent a locker (one time use lockers are $.50-1, and all-day lockers are $12-14 with a $10 key deposit) to safeguard valuable possessions.
  • Crowds are lighter after 4 p.m., so be sure not to leave too early.

Tickets

Noah’s Ark has a variety of ticket options. General admission day tickets are $33 per person, though kids shorter than 47 inches tall (the minimum height requirement for many of the more adventurous water slides and thrill rides) can receive a 20 percent discount. Senior and group discounts are also available, and season passes are $100 for a full summer of splashes. For an even better discount, out-of-area visitors may be able to take advantage of partnerships with local hotels who offer free tickets with every stay (some restrictions apply).
