Underwater Innovation

Guests have always pretended to be fish as they explore water slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers at both outdoor and indoor water parks, but now visitors to Aquatica will actually be swimming with the fishes as they enjoy different water park attractions in a tropical South Seas theme. Several of Aquatica’s signature attractions are cleverly designed to make it appear as if guests are passing through grottos, lagoons, and pools populated with tropical fish and exotic marine life. While the animals are safely kept separated from human attractions and no cross-contamination is permitted, the 59 acre Sea World Aquatica park offers guests an up close experience they can’t find anywhere else in the world.

Sea World Aquatica Attractions

Aquatica has a wide range of aquatastic attractions for all ages to enjoy. The most popular features include:

  • More than 30 water slides, including racing slides, bowl designs, speed slides, and tube slides. Dolphin Plunge is the park’s signature attraction, with the clear water slide tube plunging through a 42 foot drop that passes through a lagoon populated with playful Commerson’s dolphins with their distinct black and white coloration.
  • A scenic lazy river that includes passage through a secluded tropical fish grotto.
  • A whitewater river with waterfalls, rapids, and other wild features for adventurous guests.
  • Side by side independently operated wave pools.
  • One of the world’s largest interactive play areas, “Walkabout Waters,” that includes small slides, a pool, water cannons, geysers, and more.
  • Private cabanas for rent that include the use of towels and refreshments.
  • Shady white sand beaches for a relaxing day of sunbathing.

Interested guests should note that height requirements vary on different slides; observe all posted safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a happy and risk-free visit.

Visiting Aquatica

Aquatica is located across the street from the Orlando Sea World theme park and the popular Discovery Cove dolphin interactive park, making it the perfect park to complement the educational exhibits and thrill rides of Sea World and the marine biology focus of Discovery Cove.
