-- Contributed by: luseyNick - You can use a kit to build a coaster at any age, or you can design your own with balsa wood, popsicle sticks, or other materials. To build real coasters, you would need the proper engineering college degrees and associated experience.

-- Contributed by: nickHaley - You can use balasa wood, popsicle sticks, or small pieces of pipe to make a trough for a marble coaster that should work for a science project. If you want to be more creative, try pasta, plastic canvas (check craft stores), or even weird recycled materials like a collection of cans and such. Best wishes!

-- Contributed by: haleyRobert - Check the tips above for guidance on how to build your own design. Don't be too ambitious with loops and curves if you're building a model design, or if you're building a scale model of a real ride, be sure you have plenty of photos from different angles so you can recreate it accurately.
